Play Station 4 (2013)

The PlayStation 4 has been produced in various models: the original, the Slim, and the Pro.

The PlayStation 4 places an increased emphasis on social interaction and integration with other devices and services, including the ability to play games off-console on PlayStation Vita and other supported devices (“ Remote Play “), the ability to stream gameplay online or to friends, with them controlling gameplay remotely (“Share Play”).


Play Station 4 Slim (2016)

Revision of genuine PS4 hardware with a smaller form factor; it has a rounded body with a matte finish on top of the console rather than a two-tone finish, and is 40% smaller than the original model. The two USB ports on the front have been updated to the newer USB 3.1 standard and have a larger gap between them, and the optical audio port has been removed.


Play Station 4 Pro

Upgraded version of the PlayStation 4 with enhanced hardware to enable 4K rendering and improved PlayStation VR performance, including an upgraded GPU with 4,198 teraflops of processing power and hardware support for chess rendering and higher CPU clock speed.

PlayStation 2 (2000) The PlayStation2 is equipped with a 128-bit Emotion Engine processor that enables lightning-fast gameplay and impressive graphics power. PlayStation 2 Slim (2004) The PlayStation 2 Slim it is smaller in size, lighter in weight and quieter than the original case design. It also has a built-in ethernet port and requires a modified Multitap. However, it does not have the expansion bay (thus no internal hard disk drive) and no internal power  supply.

In addition to smaller dimensions, the PS One also had additional changes, including removing the parallel and serial ports on the back of the console, and removing the reset button.
