The console was the first PlayStation to integrate social gaming services, including the PlayStation Network, as well as the first to be managed from a handheld console, via remote connectivity with the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita. PlayStation 3 Slim (2009) New features included a slimmer form factor, decreased power consumption, and a quieter cooling system. PlayStation 3 Super Slim (2012) Three versions of the Super Slim model: one with a 500 GB hard drive, another with a 250 GB hard drive not available in PAL regions, and a third with 12 GB flash memory that was available in PAL regions.

PlayStation 2 (2000) The PlayStation2 is equipped with a 128-bit Emotion Engine processor that enables lightning-fast gameplay and impressive graphics power. PlayStation 2 Slim (2004) The PlayStation 2 Slim it is smaller in size, lighter in weight and quieter than the original case design. It also has a built-in ethernet port and requires a modified Multitap. However, it does not have the expansion bay (thus no internal hard disk drive) and no internal power  supply.
