 Play Station 3 (2006)

It was the first console to use Blu-ray Disc technology as the primary storage medium. The console was the first PlayStation to integrate social gaming services, including the PlayStation Network, as well as the first to be managed from a handheld console, via remote connectivity with the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita.



PlayStation 3 Slim (2009)

New features included a slimmer form factor, decreased power consumption, and a quieter cooling system.


PlayStation 3 Super Slim (2012)

Three versions of the Super Slim model: one with a 500 GB hard drive, another with a 250 GB hard drive not available in PAL regions, and a third with 12 GB flash memory that was available in PAL regions.
